Hello,
As you know, a national lockdown starts on Thursday 5th November. Non-essential shops, bars, restaurants, gyms, leisure centres and so on, will be closing.
However the Prime Minister has explicitly said that construction and manufacturing should continue.
Yes the building industry is very much open for business!
The Construction Leadership Council has also confirmed the news. Workers should continue to travel to work and attend their workplace, including where this involves working in other people’s homes. Builders merchants and distributors will also keep operating.
We all understand the need to maintain construction and keep the economy going, for now and, importantly, for the future recovery. Yet the lockdown is a reminder of how serious the situation is.
Being ‘Covid-Secure’ is of paramount importance. So I just wanted to very briefly highlight the steps that the HBXL Group has taken in recent weeks and months.
Appreciating how busy building firms are right now, HBXL have extra online demonstration slots available and there is plenty of support for new customers juggling projects yet fully aware of the value of ‘going digital’.
So please talk to one of the team. We’re very much open for business too. They’re at their (home) desks Mon-Fri 9am-5pm on 0117 916 7898. Or you could go ahead and request a software demonstration straight away here.
Thanks for reading, and stay safe.
All the best,
Joanna Mulgrew
