HBXL Building Software celebrating entrepreneurs in Great Britain

Adrian Wild, founder of HBXL Building Software is in contention for Family Business Entrepreneur of the Year in the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards. Adrian has seen off some tough competition in order to make the regional shortlist. Over 1000 businesses entered the awards nationally across a wide range of categories. All will be revealed next week at the Gala Final in Cardiff.

Now in its fifth year, the Awards acknowledge the hard work and inspiring stories of British entrepreneurs and businesses in Great Britain. The Awards have celebrated some outstanding entrepreneurs who have gone on to become household names.

Previous winners have included David Buttress of Just Eat, Alexander Solomou of The Ladbible Group, and James Watt of Brewdog.

Judges have included Hayley Parsons, founder of GoCompare and James Caan, former Dragon on Dragon’s Den.

Championing small businesses

Entrepreneurship is a subject close to Adrian’s heart – he and the team at HBXL have been championing the cause of British small to medium sized building firms for close on twenty years – making sure builders get the profit they deserve, are paid on time and operate in safe environments. As a family business the family ethos is extended to staff and customers alike.

Adrian commented, “It was great to be shortlisted, it’s recognition of everyone’s hard work. We’re in good company in our category. I hope we can bring home some more silverware to add to the collection!”

HBXL has recently became the winner of an Innovation & Excellence Award from Corporate Live Wire in the Best Construction Software Provider category. The company is also Tech Company of the Year 2017 which was awarded by CV Magazine.
